Teeth Whitening in El Paso

UV Activated In-Office Teeth Whitening

Of all in-office teeth whitening treatments, is the safest and most effective. We use peroxide gel in conjunction with a state-of-the-art UV light to reach deep into the tooth enamel to remove stubborn stains caused by plaque and tartar.

Before a teeth whitening treatment, Dr. Willison may suggest a dental exam, X-rays, and teeth cleaning. After your teeth have been thoroughly cleaned, the dentist will discuss treatment options and if in-office professional teeth whitening is right for you. In-office teeth whitening will usually take about an hour and can brighten your smile up to 9 shades lighter.

Teeth Cleaning before Teeth Whitening improves results

If you are looking to get your teeth whitened, you may have to consider whether professional teeth cleaning is necessary before teeth whitening. A pre-whitening teeth cleaning allows you to maximize the benefits and yield longer-lasting results from teeth whitening.

Teeth cleaning removes all food particles, plaque, and tartar on all sides of your teeth, which will give better whitening results. An exam, X-rays, and teeth cleaning will also help to establish whether your teeth and gums are at risk for tooth decay, periodontal disease, or cavities.

Teeth Whitening does not affect dental work

Teeth whitening will not negatively affect any veneers, bonding, dental crowns, or implants that you have. Make sure to let our dentist know if you have had any work in the past so that they can take the proper steps to match your color to your current restorations.
